HYDROPHIL - Everything for a healthy smile
Water-neutral, vegan & fairly produced care products for your thorough and environmentally friendly oral hygiene, such as toothbrushes made of bamboo, make HYDROPHIL a sustainable and future-oriented company. The founders of HYDROPHIL, three friends from Hamburg, decided in 2013 to protect what is perhaps the most important resource on our planet, water, from pollution. The major goal of HYDROPHIL was and still is to develop hygiene products that use and contaminate as little water as possible during production. HYDROPHIL donates 10% of the profit to the non-profit association “Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli eV”, which is committed to providing people in countries in the Global South with access to clean drinking water.
Sustainable hygiene products from natural resources
HYDROPHIL creates innovative & environmentally friendly hygiene products for your oral hygiene and tooth cleaning. Plastic-free hygiene products that are intended to make your everyday life even more sustainable characterize HYDROPHIL. Whenever possible, HYDROPHIL uses natural raw materials that do not endanger ground and drinking water and do not require artificial irrigation. The protection of finite resources is particularly important to HYDROPHIL. It is not for nothing that HYDROPHIL is the market leader in the field of sustainable dental hygiene, with toothbrushes made of bamboo. Moso bamboo is a particularly fast-growing raw material. The bristles are made from petroleum-free castor oil and biodegradable natural paint is used.
Vegan & fair - for everyone
HYDROPHIL products do not contain any animal products and are therefore vegan. Of course, no animal testing is carried out or commissioned. Its own value chain is personally controlled down to the smallest detail to ensure that the dental care products are manufactured under fair conditions and appropriate standards. In addition, the founders of HYDROPHIL take the view that fair work deserves fair remuneration.
