Seagrass is a sustainable natural talent. The flowering type of grass grows in Vietnam, where it is dried after harvest and used to make various wicker products.
Your future basket was braided by hand and with a lot of love in a resource-saving and sustainable manner in a partner workshop in Vietnam. The founder of this workshop grew up in a village surrounded by seagrass fields, where she learned how to weave baskets from her grandmother as a child. Today she is committed to continuing this traditional handicraft with local natural materials and thereby supporting talented craftsmen.
Globo Fair Trade stands for fair trade and sustainability. All products are handcrafted in small businesses and workshops, far removed from industrial mass production. The focus is on fair, just payment and improving the working and living conditions of the partners. On the other hand, all products are made almost exclusively from natural materials and recycled materials.
