Beeswax towels set of 2

A piece less plastic - Thanks to our WingGuard beeswax wraps, food such as fruit, vegetables, salads or leftovers can be covered sustainably and kept fresh.

The cloths are lovingly made in Germany and consist of pure, natural ingredients: natural beeswax from certified organic beekeeping, organic cotton and pine resin.

The latter has an impregnating protective function and, together with the beeswax, an antibacterial property.

Beeswax reacts to hand warmth. Place the cloth on top of the container and simply press the edges slightly. Due to the warmth of the hand, the cloth encloses the edge of the bowl, plate, glass or can - similar to aluminum foil. If you want to use the food, you take off the cloth and simply rinse it under cold water. If the dirt is heavier, you may use some organic detergent. About every three months you put the towels in the oven at around 85 degrees for a few minutes to freshen them up. Afterwards the towels look like new. Incidentally, the cloths smell of beeswax, but they do not pass this smell on to the food. They don't even take on any odors. If it does happen, then simply let the cloth air out in the fresh air - without exposure to the sun.
