Kitchen utensils often wear out quickly and need to be replaced. Nevertheless, they are mostly not produced in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way, which means that their disposal mostly causes superfluous waste to be put into circulation. This must be prevented by placing greater value on the sustainable production of kitchen utensils and paying more attention to their origin and materials.
Plastic-free kitchen
Up to 10 million tons of waste enter the oceans every year, 80% of which contains plastic. With many products, especially in the area of kitchen utensils, it is possible to switch uncompromisingly to plastic-free alternatives that are equivalent in use. It is important to us that the products we offer are either plastic-free or made from recycled plastics in order to support our customers in this topic in a targeted manner and to make the world a little bit cleaner.
Reduced CO2 emissions
In addition, we try to ensure that our kitchen utensils are produced in a CO2-neutral manner or are at least produced close to our location. This is important to us because we believe that good kitchenware cannot be produced in just one location without emitting any CO2.
Oil for consumption only
Petroleum is found in many unexpected kitchen utensils. Of course, we try to ensure that our shop offers mainly petroleum-free alternatives to products that usually contain petroleum. This is important to us because we believe that it is possible to do without petroleum as an additive without any problems. We are also convinced that even petroleum-free products are not inferior in quality and, above all, in use to commercial products that contain petroleum.
Permanent instead of single use
For many kitchen utensils, the general public has become accustomed to one-time use, so that it has become normal for most consumers to throw away the products after one use. Our mission is to offer alternatives to unsustainable products and to influence our customers in a positive way to use more sustainable alternatives and use fewer disposable items.
